Responsibilities
- Assisting teachers in classroom activities
- Providing supervision to ensure a safe, nurturing environment
- Supporting daily routines, including playtime, learning activities, snack, and restroom breaks
- Stepping into classrooms as needed to provide coverage
- Encouraging positive behavior and Christ-centered values
- Helping maintain cleanliness and organization within classrooms
- Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 - 2:30
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom routines and behavior management techniques effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging positively with children and families.
- Patience and ability to work in fast paced, high stress environments.
- Ability to adapt to different children, teachers, and classrooms quickly.
- Ability to step in when needed, even when not asked, to provide support.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
