**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the quality and presentation meet our standards. **Duties:** - Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and guidelines. - Assist in menu planning, including creating new dishes and specials. - Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards. - Collaborate with the catering team for large events or special occasions. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. - Work closely with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs. - Support the dietary aides in serving meals to residents or customers. **Skills:** - Proven experience as a cook in the food service industry. - Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and culinary techniques. - Familiarity with food safety regulations. - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Excellent communication skills. - Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and schedules.
