Join Our Growing Early Intervention Team!
We are seeking two licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide Early Intervention services throughout Monroe County, Pennsylvania, including Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg. This rewarding position supports young children in early childhood centers, preschools, and classroom settings, helping them develop critical communication and language skills during their most important developmental years.
This is an itinerant SLP position requiring travel between multiple early childhood centers and educational sites throughout the service area.
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations for children in Early Intervention programs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech therapy services in early childhood centers and classroom environments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete treatment notes, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
- Travel between assigned preschool and early childhood locations throughout Monroe County
Caseload & Setting
- Early Intervention population
- Preschool and early childhood classroom settings
- Multiple centers and schools throughout the region
- Mild to moderate disability populations
- Travel required between assigned sites
Required Qualifications Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Current Pennsylvania clearances
- Ability to travel between schools and early childhood centers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Early Intervention, preschool, or school-based therapy
- Experience working with young children in educational setting
