Growing family dental practice seeking a skilled Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with a variety of clinical procedures and helping provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Taking high-quality digital dental radiographs
- Placing, contouring, and polishing composite restorations as permitted under Kentucky EDDA regulations
- Sterilization and infection control
- Operatory setup and breakdown
- Assisting with patient education and treatment coordination
Qualifications:
- Current X-ray certification required
- Experience placing composite restorations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Coronal polishing certification a plus but no needed.
- Dentrix or Open Dental familiarity a plus.
