Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible hours)
Compensation:
- $15–$23 per hour (as W-2 employee)
- $19–$27 per hour (as independent contractor)
- Pay rate will be determined based on experience, skills, and reliability.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable part time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving. We are willing to train the right person; previous experience is helpful but not required. If you have a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and fix minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues
- Handle painting, assembly, installation, and groundskeeping tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Be on-call for after-hour emergencies
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Basic mechanical aptitude and handyman skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and dependability
- Desire to grow
- Prior maintenance, facilities, or construction experience is a plus but not required, will train the right person
