About the Position:
Ambitions Therapy is a staffing agency assisting Associate Therapists as well as Case Managers find placement with reputable SUD and MH treatment facilities throughout the Orange County, CA area. Please note that this is a recruitment position, and the job opportunities/positions will vary based on need. This job posting is NOT necessarily for a position with Ambitions Therapy.
Ambitions provides staffing services to local area substance use, mental health, and co-occurring treatment facilities. Levels of care range from detoxification, residential, partial-hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plan updates, discharge summaries, and case management records in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Facilitate individual counseling sessions, psychoeducational groups, and therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices appropriate to the client's level of care.
- Coordinate care with referral sources, family members, healthcare providers, probation officers, and other community stakeholders to support treatment goals and continuity of care.
- Monitor client progress throughout treatment, identify barriers to recovery, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to modify interventions as clinically indicated.
- Assist clients with accessing community resources, including housing, employment, education, medical care, psychiatric services, transportation, and recovery support services.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, utilization review activities, and discharge planning to ensure quality care and positive treatment outcomes.
- Maintain professional boundaries, uphold confidentiality standards, and ensure compliance with all agency policies, ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements.
Required Credentials (Must Hold One):
- RADT (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician)
- SUDRC (Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor)
- CADAC I or II (Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor)
- CATC I or II (Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor)
- AMFT (Associate Marriage & Family Therapist)
- ASW (Associate Clinical Social Worker)
- APCC (Associate Professional Clinical Counselor)
Additional Requirements:
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Up-to-date C3 screening, including TB test and drug screening
- Active or Pending professional liability insurance covering mental health and/or substance use counseling
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Strong group facilitation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete concise and professional documentation
- Live Scan clearance is a plus – not required, but applicants who can pass Live Scan will be given priority consideration
