What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, service advisors, and teammates
- Utilize diagnostic tools, manufacturer resources, and technical information
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and team-focused work environment

Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, diesel equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, commercial vehicles, or related machinery including yellow iron
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing equipment, lifting tools and components, and performing hands-on diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work in a service shop and field environment
Preferred Experience
- Vermeer equipment experience
- OEM dealership experience
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
- Diesel engine certifications or advanced technical training
Compensation
$37–$43 per hour DOE
Placement within the pay range is determined by experience, technical ability, certifications, diagnostic capabilities, and overall fit for the role.
