Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook with grill experience to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cooking techniques, specifically grilling, and will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to ensure our customers receive excellent service and top-notch food.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food: Grill a variety of proteins, vegetables, and other ingredients according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Set up and stock stations: Ensure all food items are properly prepared, labeled, and stored before and after shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness: Keep the grill and surrounding area clean and organized at all times. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor inventory: Keep track of food supplies and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager.
- Work efficiently: Maintain a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment, ensuring orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen operation.
- Ensure consistency: Prepare food items to the correct doneness and temperature and ensure consistent presentation.
- Assist with prep work: Support other kitchen stations with food preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook, with at least 1 year of experience specifically on the grill.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of grilling techniques, food safety, and kitchen best practices.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time efficiently. Strong attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot environment.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
