Our client, a major player in the design of healthcare facilities, is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in large healthcare facilities for a major hospital project. To be considered for this position you must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred) and be a registered Professional Engineer with 10-15 years of progressive experience in the design of healthcare facilities. You must also be proficient in AutoCAD. Experience with 3-D and BIM is highly desirable as is LEED® NC accreditation and familiarity with life cycle cost methodologies.
Our client is searching for a highly motivated self starter that can independently apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis. You will work with minimal supervision and have broad latitude in determining the objectives and approaches to your assignments. You will be expected to research, develop, and design a variety of HVAC and plumbing equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for hospitals and advanced laboratories. BSL design experience is preferred, but not required, for this position.
