Test Technician - Contract To Hire
Leading automation is seeking a skilled Test Technician in Southborough, MA, to support production testing for a leading company known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the electronics industry.
Shift of the Test Technician:
8a-4:30pm.
Pay Rate of the Test Technician:
$28-33/Hr
Responsibilities of the Test Technician:
- Execute assembly and testing of printed circuit boards and complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Utilize oscilloscopes and multimeters for debugging analog and digital circuit boards.
- Identify and document engineering issues, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough inspections of PCBs and perform necessary repairs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive assembly documentation and work processes.
Qualifications of the Test Technician:
- Demonstrated leadership in a team environment with adaptable work conditions.
- Expertise in IPC-610 standards and their implementation.
- Proficient in interpreting and executing ECOs, including complex rework instructions.
- Advanced proficiency in PC quality data entry and related environments.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications highly desired.
