As a Montessori Educational Assistant, you are far more than an aide—you are a vital guide and co-creator of a harmonious classroom community. Working side-by-side with a Lead Teacher, you will help cultivate a thoughtfully prepared environment where children flourish physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
What You’ll Do Everyday:
- Guide & Inspire: Support individualized and small-group learning, honoring each child’s unique rhythm, interests, and natural love for discovery.
- Nurture Peace & Community: Model grace, courtesy, and respect, helping students master peaceful conflict resolution and social independence.
- Prepare the Magic: Partner with your Lead Teacher to create and maintain an inviting, beautiful classroom environment that encourages freedom within limits.
- Be a Trusted Mentor: Provide gentle, supportive instruction and encouraging guidance as children build real-world life skills and foundational academic concepts.
