Job Title: Nursing Home Cook
Location: The Bronx, New York
Shift Schedule:
4x week, every other weekend required
5AM to 1PM OR 6AM to 2PM

About the Nursing Home Cook Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Home Cook to join our culinary team. As a Nursing Home Cook at Pinnacle Multicare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional culinary services to our residents. As a Nursing Home Cook, you will:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for our residents
Ensure that all meals are served in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and prepare special menus and meals for residents with dietary restrictions
Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and their families, ensuring their satisfaction and well-being
Nursing Home Cook Requirements:
Must have a valid ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s Certification. Applicant without certifications will not be considered.
Previous experience in a cook or similar role is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Must be a self starter to meet the demand of the kitchen operations
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
