Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our residential rental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential property maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various areas, including general knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, etc. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient completion and documenting of work orders, while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on residential single family and multi-family properties, to achieve safety and compliance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to all components of a residential structure, both interior and exterior.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and government standards.
- Manage maintenance tasks using internal software for tracking work orders, inventory and results.
- Engage in residential rehab projects to update properties as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property maintenance with a reliable work history.
- Proficiency with basic power tools, hand tools, mowing equipment, etc.
- Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to successfully engage with tenants, city inspectors, co-workers and vendors.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a self-paced work environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
