Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
- Strong pediatric experience, especially within a school or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a range of needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver targeted therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for goal setting and progress reviews
- Consult with teachers and staff to incorporate communication strategies within the classroom
- Maintain accurate, timely records of sessions, evaluations, and compliance documentation
