Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. Hotel Experience is Required. CPO Certification is Required. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise with attention to details, and organizational skills will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across our hotel. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC cleaning/servicing, and general building upkeep to ensure safety and functionality.
- Oversee day to day operation and chemical testing of seasonal pool.
- Conduct inspections using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues with mechanical or electrical systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuits and components.
- Execute welding and residential painting projects as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and structural integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for repairs or installations.
- Manage maintenance requests efficiently using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed on schedule.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and adhering to safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
- Lead or assist in supervising maintenance staff or contractors during large projects or routine tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, carpentry, welding, or HVAC systems.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, reading schematics, and using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation systems.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing for clear documentation and team coordination.
