Hospice Services of Massachusetts is looking for compassionate and caring volunteers in the Easton area!
What does a hospice volunteer do?
Our volunteers work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and the interdisciplinary team to provide emotional and task-oriented support to patients and their families. Tasks could include reading to patients, doing arts & crafts, listening to music with them, reminiscing on memories, or even simply having a conversation about today’s top news.
A great hospice volunteer is someone who has a big heart. Our patients are at the end-of-life and our mission is to provide a meaningful and comfortable experience for them and their family.
No experience is required! We will help prepare and support you throughout your time as a volunteer.
