SUMMARY: The Dual Director of Sales leads the overall sales strategy for two hotel properties, driving new business development, leveraging cross-property synergies, and maximizing combined revenue across all market segments. This role builds and leads a high-performing multi-property sales team through hands-on training, mentoring, and strategic direction, while representing both hotels with professionalism and impact across the local business community and key market networks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Group & Event/Meeting Management

Ensures in-house groups across both properties are well-served throughout their stay, driving satisfaction and repeat business

Fosters teamwork and cooperation across all departments at both hotels including greeting groups, monitoring meetings, and catering

Experienced in negotiating group contracts, room blocks, rate agreements, and multi-property deals

Assists with and oversees follow-up on rooming lists, direct billing, and other requirements for booked business
Sales Support & Supervision

Proactive Sales Leader that builds strong relationships within local corporations, association market, and travel industry networks to benefit both properties

Organizes week around achieving sales call goals and networking within the local business community while balancing coverage between both locations

Builds a high-performing sales team across both hotels through training, mentoring, and participation in joint sales calls

Provides sales training to front office staff, the Sales Coordinator, and the Sales Manager at each property

Interviews, selects, trains, develops, and administers performance appraisals for multi-property sales staff

Facilitates inside sales leads and helps develop overall sales strategy for each hotel

Develops and maintains marketing plans and sales budgets with the General Managers; develops market segment strategies to prospect business for both properties
Employee & Guest Relations

Understanding of revenue management principles and participates in revenue management calls and rate strategies for both assets using STR reports, demand analysis, and other resources

CRM and sales systems proficiency (Delphi.fdc, Salesforce, OPERA Sales & Catering, etc.)

Holds team accountable for guest service scores impacted by the sales team across both locations

Always follows company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of hotel sales experience preferred. Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
