We are seeking a Senior Packaging Sales Representative to join a growing corrugated packaging manufacturer. This individual will target packaging solutions for new and existing accounts by deeply understanding and leveraging the full capabilities of the organization throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate brings established corrugated packaging sales experience and a consultative approach to building long-term client relationships.

- Custom printed corrugated solutions
- Industrial transit packaging
- Fulfillment and co-packing services
Note: This is not a food service packaging role. The company does not produce cups, clamshells, takeout containers, or disposable foodservice products.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business and meet sales goals to achieve maximum profitability, growth, and account penetration within the assigned sales territory
- Determine product specifications, quotes, and pricing
- Compile and analyze prospective customer information to develop a prospect list
- Visit customers and potential customers to evaluate needs and promote products and services
- Maintain customer records and relationships with key contacts
- Answer customer questions about credit terms, products, pricing, and availability
- Perform packaging audits and work closely with the Design Team to develop value-added solutions
- Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports
- Perform all duties from a foundation of trust and the highest ethical conduct, following established safety rules, company policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience — corrugated packaging sales experience is required
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in sales, marketing, or related field
- Strong communication, interpersonal, listening, and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers
- Highly motivated, results-oriented; works well independently and within a team
- Consultative and personalized sales approach with strong problem-solving aptitude
- Commitment to excellent customer service and knowledge of industry standards
- Effective time management with ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must reside in or near Houston, Dallas, or Austin/San Antonio, TX
Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
