Fleet & Equipment Mechanic
We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Fleet & Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our landscaping fleet and equipment. This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping our trucks, trailers, mowers, and small engine equipment operating safely and efficiently so our crews can stay productive.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on company trucks, trailers, zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, and landscaping equipment.
- Diagnose and complete repairs on gas-powered lawn equipment, including 2-cycle equipment such as trimmers, edgers, blowers, and chainsaws.
- Perform in-house mechanical repairs on all company equipment.
- Sharpen and maintain mower blades, hedge trimmers, and other cutting tools.
- Change and repair tires on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Deliver replacement equipment or tools to crews in the field and perform minor on-site repairs when needed.
- Pick up parts, supplies, and materials from local vendors.
- Transport grass and debris to the dump as needed using company trucks and trailers.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs and communicate equipment needs to management.
Qualifications
- Experience working on small engines, lawn care equipment, automotive, diesel, or fleet vehicles.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs independently.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a shop as well as outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must provide your own basic mechanic's hand tools. Specialty tools and shop equipment are provided by the company.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
