Direct Mobile Dental Services provides comprehensive dental care to residents of assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care communities throughout Pennsylvania. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized, proactive Business Operations Manager to help oversee the administrative and operational functions that keep our organization running efficiently.

Position Summary
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day business operations of Direct Mobile Dental Services. This position serves as a central point of communication between departments, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and consistent execution of company objectives.
The ideal candidate has experience in dentistry and understands the unique challenges of serving nursing homes and assisted living facilities. They are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting leadership with operational oversight.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily business operations across multiple departments.
- Monitor scheduling efficiency and help optimize provider utilization.
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for departments and team members.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and assist with coaching and development.
- Monitor departmental goals and hold teams accountable for meeting performance expectations.
- Improve workflows, policies, and operational processes.
- Facilitate communication between scheduling, administration, clinical teams, and executive leadership.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee training.
- Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards.
- Help identify operational bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Support leadership with special projects and organizational initiatives.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of dental office management, healthcare operations, or administrative leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and dental office workflows.
- Experience working with or serving skilled nursing facilities or assisted living communities is preferred but not required.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple locations or mobile healthcare operations.
- Experience tracking operational metrics and KPIs.
- Human resources or employee development experience.
- Experience implementing operational improvements.
- Background in long-term care, healthcare administration, or dental operations.
