Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of forklift types such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload shipments.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for accurate logistics tracking.
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pallet jack operation to move materials within the warehouse.
- Execute order picking activities with precision to fulfill shipping requests efficiently.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure forklift safety standards are maintained.
- Follow OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to warehouse distribution procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management, and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling standards.
- Excellent understanding of materials handling techniques including load & unload procedures.
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or managing warehouse distribution processes is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
