City Creek is in search of a dedicated, hard-working Laundry Aide/Janitor to join our Housekeeping team. Here at City Creek we value all of our employees equally and recognize each and every department as an essential part of our facility. We are looking for someone with flexible hours, who is eager to work and able to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, residents and fellow employees
- Understand operation of washing machines and dryers
- Load and unload washes according to standards
- Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
- Maintain all equipment as trained
- Fold towels and linens.
- Remove and sort dirty linens
- Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Assist in Janitorial Maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Maintain regular attendance, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
