Program Overview
New York Life’s Client Development & Leadership Track is a structured development program designed to build careers in financial services, sales, and future leadership roles.
This role begins in a client-facing position focused on building relationships, developing financial knowledge, and supporting clients with insurance and financial solutions. Training is provided in product knowledge, sales practices, compliance, and business development.
Advancement into leadership or management roles is based on performance, licensing completion, and achievement of defined business milestones.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships through networking and referrals
- Present financial products and solutions based on client needs
- Support clients with ongoing service and account relationship management
- Participate in structured training, coaching, and licensing programs
- Meet activity and performance expectations
- Maintain compliance with company and industry regulations

Phase 1: Client Development

Qualifications
- 1–5 years of professional experience preferred (sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or business)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to obtain required financial licenses

- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience in sales or financial services
