We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing instructional strategies aligned with educational standards.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment conducive to learning and behavior management.
- Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce lessons in literacy, math, physical education, or other subjects.
- Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and facilitate assessment-driven instruction.
- Adapt teaching methods for students with disabilities or special needs, ensuring equitable access to education through tailored interventions and accommodations.
- Conduct student assessments and analyze performance data to inform instructional adjustments and academic interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers on implementing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and other educational frameworks to support diverse learner needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in classroom or childcare settings, including early childhood education or preschool experience.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, and teaching math to young learners.
- Familiarity with assessment tools, student performance data analysis, and instructional design techniques.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support multiple grade levels as needed.
- Understanding of educational compliance regulations and best practices in classroom management.
