Job Summary
At Community Pools of AZ, LLC, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing swimming pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and functioning optimally. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our clients by keeping pools in pristine condition and addressing any technical issues promptly. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about pool maintenance and equipment repair to thrive in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.
You do not need experience, we can train the right folks. Preferred applicants have worked outside in the AZ heat in a previous role.
STARTING PAY IS $21 PER HOUR AND WE OFFER FULL TIME SHIFTS, M-F 8 HOURS PER DAY, 6-230 SUMMER SCHEDULE.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure optimal water quality.
- Conduct thorough pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and cleaning filters.
- Inspect pools regularly for safety hazards or equipment malfunctions and address issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs of repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each client’s pool.
- Assist with installation of new pool equipment or upgrades as needed, following safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance needs or repairs required to ensure their satisfaction.
Skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
- Ability to work in the heat, on your feet 8 hours per day.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to identify potential issues early.
