B.E.A.R. Children’s Academy is looking for a warm, experienced, and engaging ELA Educator to join our small-group homeschool learning environment for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Our approach combines strong academics with individualized instruction, giving educators the opportunity to truly know each child and support meaningful academic growth.
Position Responsibilities
- Teach ELA to a small mixed-age group of 2nd–3rd grade students
- Provide instruction in reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and writing
- Guide students through novel studies and literature-based learning
- Strengthen critical thinking and written expression
- Adapt instruction to students’ individual academic levels and learning needs
- Create an engaging, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Encourage independence, curiosity, and confidence as learners
We Are Looking for an Educator Who:
- Has experience teaching elementary-age students
- Has a strong understanding of elementary ELA instruction
- Is comfortable working with students at different academic levels within a small group
- Brings warmth, patience, creativity, and strong classroom management
- Values individualized education and meaningful learning over a one-size-fits-all approach
- Is dependable, organized, and collaborative
