Administrative Coordinator / Office Administrator
Position Summary
Unified Logistix Group (ULG) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support daily office operations, customer service activities, and logistics administration at our Atlanta location. This position serves as a critical link between operations, warehouse personnel, carriers, customers, and corporate leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and possesses strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative functions of the Atlanta office.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate communication between customers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and management.
- Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents, billing records, and operational reports.
- Enter and update information in transportation management systems (TMS), spreadsheets, and company databases.
- Track freight movements and provide shipment status updates to customers.
- Schedule appointments, deliveries, installations, and transportation services.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable documentation.
- Maintain employee files, attendance records, and administrative documentation.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and new hire paperwork as needed.
- Prepare weekly operational reports for leadership.
- Ensure office supplies and equipment are properly maintained.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or office support experience.
- Logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM platforms, or WMS software is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
