Forklift Operator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a local manufacturing company here in Omaha!
Position Details:
- Type: Evaluation Hire
- Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Pay/Salary: Up to $27
Job Duties:
- Receive and check-in each arriving package, distribute, and log the internal delivery of the received goods.
- Ability to understand order numbers and processing operations for order selecting.
- Will be working as a member of the general warehouse staff and must be comfortable with assisting in the material handling, order packing, and general warehouse work.
- Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks, along with being familiar with other shipping related processes.
- This team-oriented role will commonly work with warehouse staff for collaborative client satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of forklift experience
- MUST HAVE GOOD TENURE AT YOUR PREVIOUS ROLES
- Must have both sit down and stand-up forklift experience
- Must be able to get on a forklift and pass a driving assessment
- Experience with shipping and receiving a plus
- Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds, and at times up to 50 pounds safely
- High school diploma/GED required
