About the Role:
Tiny Toes Daycare LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our nurturing team in Redding, CA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and create a positive learning environment for children ages 2-5. In addition we serve infants and school-age children
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and adapt activities accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is essential.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
- Background check clearance required.
