Live Auction Host – Whatnot & TikTok Live
We are looking for an energetic, confident, and highly engaging Live Auction Host to join our growing live-commerce team.
In this role, you will host live auction and shopping sessions on Whatnot and TikTok Live, showcase a variety of products, interact with viewers in real time, create excitement around each item, and turn viewers into bidders and buyers.
This is a high-energy, on-camera sales position. We are looking for someone who can communicate naturally, think quickly, build excitement, and keep the audience engaged throughout a live auction.
Responsibilities
- Host engaging live auction shows on Whatnot and TikTok Live
- Present and showcase products clearly, confidently, and enthusiastically
- Introduce products, explain key features, and answer viewer questions in real time
- Create excitement and urgency around products during live auctions
- Encourage audience participation, bidding, and purchases
- Keep conversations energetic and flowing throughout each livestream
- Build rapport with viewers and help develop a loyal live-shopping audience
- Learn product details before each live show
- Maintain a professional, consistent, and engaging on-camera presence
- Work closely with the live operations team to manage auction flow and improve sales performance
- Occasionally participate in short-form videos, product demonstrations, or other social media content

- Confident and comfortable speaking on camera
- Fluent English required, with excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to speak clearly, confidently, and continuously during fast-paced live auctions
- Energetic, outgoing, personable, and highly engaging
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Quick-thinking and able to respond naturally to viewers in real time
- Strong sales mindset and ability to create excitement around products
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and coachable
- Comfortable taking direction from the live operations team
- Interest in fashion, beauty, fragrance, handbags, shoes, accessories, and lifestyle products
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Whatnot live auctions
- TikTok Live or TikTok Shop
- Livestream selling
- Retail or sales
- Hosting or presenting
- Social media or content creation
- On-camera work
Previous livestream experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Position Details
Job Type: Part-time, with potential opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
