American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient PTA with 1+ years of experience and BLS certification for a part-time contract at a physician-owned outpatient clinic.

Outpatient clinic setting supporting a physician-owned practice
-
Part-time schedule of 24 hours per week, 4x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-
No weekend or on-call requirements

Candidate will float to nearby outpatient clinic locations within the same day
-
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate for floating between locations
-
Treats orthopedic conditions including hip fractures, total hip and knee replacements, and post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgeries

Treats neurologic conditions including post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, and Parkinson's disease

Uses equipment such as crutches, gait belts, walkers, shoulder slings, and upper/lower extremity prosthetics

Current PTA license required if applicable

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA

Experience with charting systems required

Experience in outpatient, acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or SNF settings preferred

Assist the clinic owner with patient caseload across orthopedic and neurologic populations
