Duties
- Receive and review food orders from the kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and completeness before serving
- Coordinate with servers to deliver hot, fresh dishes efficiently to guests’ tables
- Verify that all food items meet quality standards and presentation requirements before delivery
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests
- Assist in organizing and expediting food during busy service periods to maintain smooth workflow
- Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the service station and dining area as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety standards
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with banquet service or large-scale catering is a plus
- Basic understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations and food handling
