The job posting is for all Kitchen Staff. If you have a night job already, we can work on putting you on day shifts. We are looking for clean and neat individuals with great customer service skills. We are a high-volume restaurant and want employees that love working as a team and that can handle the pressures associated with a fast-paced restaurant.
Kitchen staffers perform various duties in the kitchen. This may include, but is not limited to; setting out clean dishes, washing dishes, setting up containers for dirty dishes and cleaning kitchen floor; emptying out trash cans; wiping kitchen counters; washing pots and pans; cleaning griddles, stoves, and ovens; perform temperature checks on all prepared food items as well as refrigerated items; preparing food items for the day's menu (sorting, chopping, washing and storing of food); and substituting on any line when necessary.
Applicants must have basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation, knife handling skills, and handling of kitchen equipment. Applicants must have the ability to measure ingredients accurately and understand and carry out directions given by the chef/kitchen manager. Applicants must be able to multi-task, work quickly despite being under stress, and communicate well to ensure all orders are satisfactory to customers.
