Duties
- Carefully select and pick items using order picker equipment and barcode scanning systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse.
- Pack luxury beauty products with precision, utilizing appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit and uphold brand standards.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels, perform stock replenishment, and update records accurately.
- Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols, ensuring proper handling of heavy materials and equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks on packed orders to verify accuracy, completeness, and product integrity before shipping.
- Follow safety guidelines including PPE use, manual handling procedures, and warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience operating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, inventory management systems, and barcode scanning for logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and material handling with safety awareness.
- Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations.
- Experience in a luxury or high-end product environment is a plus but not mandatory; a keen eye for quality and presentation is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and adhering to safety standards.
