Family-owned business seeking a quality Class A CDL tractor trailer driver
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Able to work a flexible schedule and as many as 12-14 hours in a day (day, evening, night, and weekend)
- Prompt attendance at assigned work location
- Perform safety inspections as required by the DOT to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order – report all issues to Company
- Load and unload trailer where required
- Ensure load is secured properly & weight is compliant
- Communicate frequently with Company on trips, delays, issues, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers at the drop/pickup site
- Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

CDL Class A Truck Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A - CDL License
- Clean Driving Record
- Must meet the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Education/Certifications
- Current Class A Driver’s License
- Current DOT Physical and Medical card (if you do not have a current card, one must be obtain if considered for employment)
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
- 2+ years’ experience loading and offloading heavy equipment
- Air brake endorsement
- Winch & Lowboy experience is a PLUS
Special Requirements
- Overtime required; some nights and weekend work
- Occasional long-haul trips with overnight stay must be required periodically'
