Description:
Our hotel is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily housekeeping operations and ensure rooms and public areas meet our cleanliness and service standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who motivates staff, communicates clearly, and maintains a positive, professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Support & Daily Operations

Lead and support room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff throughout the shift

Assign room boards, monitor progress, and adjust workloads based on occupancy

Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate priorities, updates, and expectations

Assist with training new team members on cleaning standards and procedures
Quality Control & Inspections

Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs

Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrections

Verify room status and communicate updates to Front Desk and Housekeeping leadership

Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments
Guest Service & Communication

Respond promptly to guest requests and service issues

Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when handling concerns or escalations

Coordinate with Maintenance on work orders and room readiness
Inventory & Administrative Tasks

Monitor supply levels and restock carts and closets as needed

Assist with inventory counts and usage tracking

Maintain inspection logs, training checklists, and daily reports
Requirements:
Qualifications

Previous hotel housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred

Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills

Ability to coach staff respectfully and maintain a positive team culture

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safety standards
