Position Overview/Summary
Nuhma Inflight Dining is seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our growing team. In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods, assisting with shopping and event logistics, and providing exceptional service that reflects NUHMA's luxury hospitality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a high-energy environment while building positive customer relationships. Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely drive and deliver food, supplies, staff, and equipment according to company schedules and client specifications.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while accounting for traffic, weather, delivery schedules, parking regulations, and all DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements to ensure safe and timely deliveries.
- Ensure all food items and equipment are transported safely, professionally, and in accordance with food safety standards.
- During events, assist the chefs and management team with transportation needs, additional purchasing, and movement of items between venues and production kitchen.
- Pack and double-check all meals, products, and equipment according to NUHMA Inflight Services and client/jet specifications.
- Verify meal counts, packaging accuracy, and presentation standards before deliveries.
- Assist with setup, food preparation support, packaging, and loading/unloading of deliveries.
- Purchase food, alcohol, supplies, and other items as directed by the Executive Chef or management.
- Maintain inventory awareness and notify management when cleaning supplies, packaging materials, containers, foil, bags, or other delivery items are needed.
- Conduct physical counts of products and equipment as required.
- Maintain company vehicles in excellent condition, including cleanliness, fuel levels, and routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire pressure, insurance, and scheduled service appointments.
- Follow all traffic laws, parking regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene and adhere to company dress code standards, including wearing the NUHMA logo hat/uniform.
- Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
- Maintain a respectful, professional, and team-oriented attitude with coworkers, clients, and vendors.
- Report any food safety or operational concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a high-volume hospitality, catering, delivery, warehouse, or related role.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including lifting, loading, packing, and moving equipment.
- Basic math and counting skills for inventory and packing accuracy.
- Flexible schedule with availability for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service.
