American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position in Maysville, KY, requiring cardiac experience and night shift availability.

Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit (Intermediate Care Unit) within a 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital
-
General and cardiac specialty unit with 12 beds and a 4:1 patient ratio

Adult and geriatric patient population
-
Cardiac experience required; experience removing post-cath stents is a plus
-
EMR: Meditech/Medhost
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Floating required to telemetry and critical care at times

Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Cardiac nursing experience required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Royal blue scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere while on assignment
