We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of residential carpentry projects, including framing, trim work, flooring, and fixture installation. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects.
- Perform framing using metal studs or wood materials for various residential structures, ensuring structural integrity.
- Install doors, windows, moldings, trim, flooring, tile, and fixtures with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, framing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and rebar installation.
- Conduct demolition and restoration work including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and rebar installation as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining compliance with power tool safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure project specifications are met efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in construction estimating and reading blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and metal stud framing equipment.
- Extensive construction site experience with knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and flooring installation.
- Familiarity with the use of construction plans and technical drawings; ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation processes is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety protocols such as power tool safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Valid experience in remodeling projects or the restoration industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively on complex projects.
