About us:
Tipsy Tee Tavern is a small women-owned business in Adams, WI. We are professional, agile and our goal is to combine on one property a tavern/restaurant, second season of a new 18 hole mini-golf course and ice cream shop and event hall. Our venue offers a dynamic environment where customers can enjoy a variety of experiences, from socializing over drinks at the bar, enjoying a bite to eat to enjoying a round of mini-golf.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as cooks at the Tipsy Tee Tavern. Candidates will be trained to work a grill top (burgers, sandwiches and wraps) prepare home made pizzas and other frozen fryer food. They will be responsible for any prep/clean up and also washing dishes (along with bartenders) and any other kitchen related duties as needed.. The ideal candidates will be energetic, punctual, dependable, organized, and willing to jump in where needed to show their commitment to providing exceptional service to our patrons. We are looking for someone who can put orders out QUICK and orderly in a small kitchen and be able to handle higher demand of Friday and Saturday dinner hours.
Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
- Utilize opening and closing checklists to ensure readiness for shift and adherence to safe food practices.
- Run the grill, cook pizzas, pretzels and other fryer foods - friday fish fry
- Change out fryer grease weekly and keep kitchen clean
- Wash dishes as needed (when food runners are on shift they may help)
- Keep kitchen clean, wash fridges, fronts of fryers, floors on a daily basis
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to coordinate service and address any customer needs or concerns.
- Maintain open communication with fellow staff members to ensure efficient workflow.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Help maintain cleanliness of kitchen, take out trash, wash equipment
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as refilling condiment stations and restocking supplies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
