Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cerner Architect to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of Cerner Millennium solutions across healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Cerner architecture, healthcare interoperability, clinical workflows, and system integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable healthcare IT solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of healthcare IT experience with 5+ years of Cerner architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge of Cerner Millennium modules including PowerChart, Orders, FirstNet, SurgiNet, PharmNet, and Revenue Cycle.
- Experience with Cerner CCL (Cerner Command Language) development.
- Expertise in HL7, FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, SMART on FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience designing and supporting Cerner interfaces using interface engines such as Corepoint, Cloverleaf, Mirth, or Rhapsody.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR implementation, and data migration.
- Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI) is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and security standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Pay: From $70.00 per hour
