Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled Part-Time Facilities Management Technician to support the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, complete repairs, and help ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment for employees and visitors.
This position is ideal for an individual with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Complete preventative maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of maintenance areas.
- Work with and inform management when outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and scheduled maintenance are needed.
- Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, equipment installation, and facility setup for meetings or events.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and recommend replenishment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records.
- Identify opportunities to improve facility operations, efficiency, and preventative maintenance programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
