Staffing Inc is partnered with a great food manufacturing company located in Holland, MI who is actively looking for a qualified Tool Crib Attendant. The ideal candidate will be able to support the production and Maintenance teams by managing parts and supplies, maintaining organized tool crib operations, assisting with inventory control, and utilizing systems such as DSI and JDE. Mechanical aptitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are important for success in this role.
Tool Crib Attendant Benefits:
- Pay: $22/hr
- Hours: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
- Overtime
Please note that this is a temporary pilot position.
Training/Duration
- Candidates will train on 1st shift for approximately 2–3 weeks
- Training hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- This pilot project is expected to last approximately 90 days, or depending on the needs of the department.
Tool Crib Attendant Responsibilities :
- Maintaining the RQH/GSP/QSP tool cribs independently
- Assisting Mechanics and Production team members locating parts and signing them out to work orders
- Issuing and receiving parts using the DSI system ensuring excellent data accuracy
- Inspect incoming materials and verify order accuracy
- Assist with ordering stock, performing cycle counts and sending parts out to be repaired.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Attendant is responsible for safe operation of manual material handling equipment (i.e. hand jack) and of company vehicle when necessary.
Tool Crib Attendant Qualifications:
- Candidates must have some mechanical aptitude & knowledge
- Should be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals.
- Attention to detail is essential, working with part numbers and cost data possessing a keen sense of organization.
- Previous experience in tool crib operations, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with JDE, DSI, and Microsoft Office is helpful.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and possess a valid driver's license is required.
- Candidates must be able to adjust to a work environment that is fast paced and the ability to manage multiple tasks and be self-directed.
