An exceptional person is needed to join our team! This position will be a hybrid position to start. You will first master sterilization and then after 60-90 days, if you are ready, we will start having you learn chairside assisting. Your roles will include sterilization, flipping rooms, assisting hygiene, assisting dentist, answering phone calls and more. Position Summary
Dental assistants work collaboratively with the dental team to make quality patient care a priority. Dental assistants greet and prepare dental patients for care, assist dentists in a positive manner while administering care, and maintain instruments and supplies. Dental assistants also perform basic and moderately complex dental procedures. Dental assistants interact with patients to provide information about products and services, and handle and resolve patient concerns with enthusiasm and empathy.

Essential Functions
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, delightful, enthusiastic and professional way
- Perform accurate oral health assessments that include, but are not limited to: review of patient’s health history and taking and recording of blood pressure and reporting findings to dentist
- Assist the dentist chairside in four-handed dentistry practice
- Sterilize and prepare instruments
- Prepare proper tray setups prior to dental procedures
- Disinfect and prepare treatment room
- Take high quality dental impression, pour and trim model
- Make temporary crowns
- Take and mount quality x-rays
- Update patient charts and thoroughly document as needed
- Schedule patient appointments in an efficient manner to maximize provider’s schedule
- Assist patient with any follow-up regarding treatment, treatment planning, estimates, and payment
- Provide treatment plan to patient
- Present consent form to patient
- Answer treatment questions posed by patients
- Educate patients about their oral health
- Handle patient concerns in a friendly, professional way
- Ensure patient comfort
- Review schedules for accuracy and productivity

- Prepare and document referral information
- Document and maintain files and financial records, observing absolute confidentiality

- Answer all possible phone calls during regular business hours
