Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials to maximize revenue opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and food prep zones through bussing and sanitation practices
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Support food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting to ensure timely service
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Experience with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Kitchen or café experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
