Senior HVAC Service & Installation Technician About Blackmoor Corporation

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC technician who takes pride in doing the job right the first time and wants to grow with a company that invests in its people and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, package units, rooftop units, and mini-split systems.
- Recover, evacuate, pressure test with nitrogen, charge, and commission refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and control issues.
- Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system operation and repair options.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job reports.
- Follow EPA regulations, OSHA safety standards, and Blackmoor quality standards.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and job sites clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation and service experience.
- EPA Universal Certification (Required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with residential and light commercial equipment.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders, roofs, crawl spaces, and mechanical rooms.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- NATE Certification (Preferred)
- Experience with commercial rooftop equipment.
- Experience with VRF or VRV systems.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
