UROVIDA is seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our physician and clinical staff in a fast-paced urology practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide follow-up care for patients with acute and chronic urological conditions.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient, safe, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Puerto Rico.
- Active certifications and credentials required to practice.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Previous experience in a urology practice is preferred.
