Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Day Porter to carry out day time cleaning operations at a medical facility. This person would be in charge of ensuring that the site is a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.
As a key position in our custodial team, you will complete daily cleaning activities and uphold high standards of cleanliness across all areas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team committed to creating a pristine environment that supports our organization’s mission and values.
Duties
- Perfom daily cleaning tasks across multiple areas of the facility
- Maintains a professional demeanor and attitude when working closely to clients employees and patients
- Maintains a professional uniform that is clean, well fitted, and presentable
- Monitor cleaning quality to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of all spaces to identify cleaning needs and address any issues promptly
- Lead by example in performing custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and detailed sanitation tasks
Requirements
- Experience in custodial work or commercial cleaning environments, preferably within hospitality or hotel settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive work environment
Pay: $16.00 per hour
