The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture precision metal components. This role requires interpreting blueprints and CNC programs, performing quality inspections, and ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient production.
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience operating CNC and/or manual lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Ability to perform machine setups.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret G-code/M-code.
- Experience using precision measuring tools and gauges.
- Ability to inspect parts and maintain quality standards.
- Experience editing CNC programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNC programming experience.
- Experience operating multiple machines.
- Training or mentoring experience.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools.
