Position Summary
Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines; inspecting, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures; observing and documenting signs of wear and tear; gathering capital expense information; recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs; determining replacement needs; and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
About Plumbing Team/ Campus Operations
Team operates as a service department. The purpose of the campus operations plumbing team is to fix and maintain all the corporate real estate building systems. This role will be a journeyman or higher positions able to make needed judgement calls to ensure day-to-day operations are maintained. This role will aid the Lead technician where needed as well as mentor junior roles on this team.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for responding to trouble call issues that come up.

Assist in upgrade or update projects as needed.

Will help with creating a preventative maintenance schedule for various equipment on campus

Will eventually be on an on-call rotation.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 7 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
1 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
